DANVILLE, Calif. (KRON) – The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office released surveillance video of two men fighting over a Costco parking spot in Danville. Prosecutors released the video just one day after they decided against filing any charges in connection to the parking lot fight. The District Attorney's Office said its investigation determined that both men were aggressors. (Watch the Costco surveillance video above). One of the men involved in the fight, Craig Blackburn, told KRON4 that he wanted the second man to be criminally prosecuted to the fullest extend of the law. Blackburn said he was attacked because the man thought Blackburn was taking too long to unload his Costco shopping bags while eating a hot dog. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The man accused of stabbing a 64-year-old woman to death inside a Duboce Triangle building has been charged with murder, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced Thursday. Jesus Esparza, 41, was arrested immediately after the homicide and has remained in custody since. Mei Ran Hu, 64, was identified by San Francisco city supervisors as the victim. BUENA VISTA, Colo. (KDVR) -- An 11-year-old girl was injured by a mountain lion when it swatted her in the face, Colorado Parks and Wildlife said Thursday. The attack occurred Wednesday when the girl went into the family chicken coop and found a dead chicken. She opened the door to the hen house and that's when the young mountain lion swatted her in the face, leaving a puncture wound. The girl was treated at a Chaffee County hospital for the small puncture wound on her face and released. A violent crash on Interstate 75 in Davie left an infant dead, sent a woman to the hospital and led to the closure of northbound lanes near Griffin Road.Davie Fire Rescue units responded to the scene on the northbound express lanes, just north of Sheridan Street, Thursday afternoon.7SkyForce hovered above the scene just before 4:45 p.m., after the northbound lanes were shut down.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the black GMC SUV where the infant was riding was stopped illegally between the northbound express lanes when it was rear-ended by a white Ford pickup truck.The GMC came to a stop on the express lanes against the concrete barrier wall.The infant and the woman who was driving the GMC were trapped inside the vehicle.
